We rented an RV and headed off with our friend Alan for 4 days
of Netherlands fun before the Flevo Festival.

European theme parks are much more lax than American
ones. They tell you stay seated (the sign to the left in
Dutch)
but they don't have anyone enforcing anything. If you get
hurt it is your fault! This water ride felt really good
in the heat. |

We now have a new goal - to bowl in every country we
visit. Sound good? Our RV park had this quaint bowling
alley. |
The pins were on ropes and Keith's lightning ball got
them
all tangled a couple of times. But it was air
conditioned! |

| Dinner out Dutch style. |
They super-heat this slab of granite and you cook
your
meat on it in front of you. It was very good - but those
stones didn't help with us being too hot. Now we need ice
cream! |

Then we had a lovely afternoon on the water. We
rented
a boat and headed out on the Veluwe. |
